ZCBB has committed to support an Australian schoolgirl living in poverty through the Smith Family Student Sponsorship Program which enables a sponsored child to receive support in three vital areas:
financial support to pay for school essentials such as a uniform, appropriate shoes, text books, and excursions;
targeted support from a Learning for Life Coordinator who will liaise with the family to understand their unique circumstances, and link the schoolgirl to local learning opportunities to help her to fully participate in her education;
access to a range of educational opportunities including Smith Family out-of-school learning and mentoring programs to help boost confidence
