Platform Nine, operating under the auspices of the Kingsway Community Church and their Community Outreach Program, provides temporary and crisis accommodation for individuals or families who have survived domestic violence or been impacted by homelessness. This local refuge, (by providing emergency accommodation) seeks to support, and empower people toward longer-term housing solutions and independent living. ZCBB has offered practical support for this organisation for several years providing exit packs containing cleaning products and personal care items, for women and their families as they leave the facility. Zonta has successfully applied for ClubNSW grants to assist with the supply of exit baskets.
