The purpose of this Scholarship is to provide financial assistance and ongoing support to a young woman who has:
· demonstrated a commitment to her learning and qualities of citizenship;
· is experiencing financial hardship; and
· has met the challenge of applying for the Zonta Young Women in Public Affairs Award during her senior years of secondary school.
The successful Scholarship recipient will be awarded $2,000 in her first year of tertiary study to assist in the necessary educational expenses associated with her chosen course of study. Following a successful completion of the first year of study, financial support of $1,000 will continue into a second year of study and $500 in the third year of study on the completion of the Scholarship accountabilities.
The 2022 Awardee is Roaa Ahmed from Beverley Hills High School and the recipient of the 2023 Scholarship is Ola Gafour who is also from Beverley HIlls High School.
