Zonta Botany Bay

Welcome

The Zonta Club of Botany Bay is proud of our initiatives including; packing and distributing birthing kits and the sewing, filling and distribution of breast cushions for women who have undergone surgery for breast cancer.

We also work closely with a range of other organisations in our local areas including Kookaburra Kids, Platform 9, Moving Forward and Project Youth providing financial and resource support.

The Zonta Club of Botany Bay is part of Zonta International and as with all clubs aligns its objectives with Zonta International in:

improving the legal, political, economic, educational, health and professional status of women through service and advocacy
working for the advancement of understanding, goodwill and peace through a world fellowship of executives in business and the professions
promoting justice and universal respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms
uniting internationally to foster high ethical standards, to implement service programs and to provide mutual supports and fellowship for members who serve their communities, their nations and the world.

ZCBB celebrates women of leadership & achievement

Annual Awards Dinner held on 9th September, 2025

The Awards Dinner honoured secondary school students who demonstrate exceptional leadership (Young Women in Leadership Award) and women who have made a significant impact in their community (Woman of Achievement Award).

The event was well attended by community leaders including local MPs for Barton, Hughes and Banks and representatives of Georges River Council.

Our Club is proud that the dinner offers an opportunity to celebrate and highlight the strength, resilience and vision of women and young leaders in our community.
